Dorchester Middle School Music Program

Inspiring Young Musicians Through Passion, Practice, and Performance
Music At DMS

At Dorchester Middle School, music is a vibrant and inclusive part of student life. We offer a wide range of opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels to explore, perform, and grow through music.

All pupils engage with every aspect of music learning through our curriculum. They explore key areas including Rhythm and Metre, Composition, Melody, Appraising and Evaluating, as well as Performance. We believe that every pupil should experience a broad and enriching musical education. Our lessons are designed to be practical and hands-on, helping pupils develop expressive and skilled performance across a variety of instruments.
